Art with Heart
Supporting Breast Cancer Foundation NZ through every sale
As a Wairarapa artist, I create illustrated Swedish dishcloths designed to bring beauty and practicality into everyday life.
Earlier this year, I donated $1 from every sale, whether online or at my markets, to Breast Cancer Foundation NZ.
I’ve called this initiative Art with Heart because I wanted my artwork to do more than brighten homes — I wanted it to give back too.
As a wife, mother and grandmother, this cause feels deeply personal.
I care about a future where women have access to screening, treatment and support — for ourselves, for our daughters and granddaughters, and for generations to come.
Supporting breast cancer awareness, research and care felt like one small but practical way to contribute to that future.
More Than a Practical Product
My Swedish dishcloths are often described as art you can clean with — everyday items illustrated from my own artwork and designed to be both useful and joyful.
During the campaign, each purchase supported two things:
A practical product designed to bring beauty and joy to everyday tasks
Support for women and families affected by breast cancer
How It Worked
For a limited time, $1 from every sale — online and at my markets — was donated to Breast Cancer Foundation NZ.
Simple, practical giving with heart.
Why Small Purchases Matter
I believe small acts add up.
Sometimes support begins in ordinary ways — a thoughtful purchase, a shared cause, a simple act of care.
This was my way of turning practical art into a small act of care.
How You Can Support
While the Art with Heart campaign has now finished, you can still:
Shop online
Visit me at a market
Share this initiative with a friend
Support Breast Cancer Foundation NZ directly
Every act of support helps.
Thank you for helping turn everyday art into a small act of care.
